According to archaeologists, the world’s oldest book is the Rigveda, written on birch bark and palm leaves. Various scholars date its creation to between 3,000 and 50,000 years before Christ. This Samhita also describes the most important principles of Ayurveda. It mentions many topics that even modern scientists have not been able to uncover. This proves Ayurveda’s antiquity. Therefore, we can say that Ayurveda was created around the time of the creation of the universe.
